Self Management in practice training

Self Management has become the 'buzz word' within the NHS however, do we understand the term? and do we know how to promote this within our own roles and responsibilities?

Are we really facing un-allocated visits or are we addressing the 'dressing applied to dry wound' or 'watched insulin administration' visits correctly and promoting Self Management.
